And I’ve been thinking I’d love to have a listing of what you and Bob Osterhoudt were using! 🙂
Ed, could you add a photo of what YOU see when you’re set up and recording?
Mostly interested in seeing the camera and prompter as they are set up…maybe a front and side view?
Thanks!
Hi Ed
Will you be able or have you posted
Dales’ request for a pic or 2 of your video setup from your view from the chair.
Thanks
It’s now available on the page.
I have added photos to the page.
Thank You Ed !!!!!
Thanks Ed for sharing this setup. It helps to see what is being done… The ole adage, a picture is worth a 1000 words. Thanks Again.
Ed,
The only thing I do not see mentioned is how you are hearing what is being said. You will see many people on Zoom with visible earbuds so they can listen without causing the echo or feedback loop. But I have never seen earbuds on you. Are they just hidden by all that hair, or what is it you are doing to hear us without sending that back through your broadcast? Thanks,
I just use speakers and a mic. It works fine.
This is great but a LOT to learn.
Hello and good morning,
Quick question. What site would you recommend for green screen background to use on the OBS sys for Virtual Santa Visits.
Keep up the good work. You are very informative with the information you are providing.
Thanks

Here is a great video on how to set up your backdrop mounting system for multiple backdrops with pull up rollers:

I have a C920S webcam, Logitech webcam software, a blue screen, and OBS. What is the reason for the Logitech gaming software? Does it make up for not having a separate graphics card? If I get a graphics card, I will also have to upgrade my power supply. Does the fact that I’m having problems getting rid of the blue outline around my in OBS mean I need the gaming software or a graphics card? Thanks.
That sounds like more of a lighting issue. I would make a video and post it to the Facebook Group and see if others have solved the problem.
Just curious if anyone has used Facebook Live Producer. It seems to be a more economical way to go for those of us on low budgets. Blame covid..
Any tips or pros and cons would be appreciated.
Just Curious what purpose do two dimbells serve?
They keep my arms stronger than they would otherwise be. 🙂
ED,
You list two sets of lights to light you and the screen, are both sets necessary or are you showing two separate options?
I use them both. 2 are primarily for the screen behind me and 2 are primarily on me.
This morning I ordered my own of the same two sets you are using. Got to go with what is already known to work well. Plus, in the photo I like the flexibility and space-saving aspect of the LEDs over the bulkier soft box style of lights.
How do the LED Light Sticks get rid of the HALO?

Santa Ed, If you have it on your list I apologize. Looking for the light that shines underneath your beard – I think it is a block like type of looking thing. Thank you for all your support Santa Frank
Pretty well.
